Hello everybody!!
Today you will "meet" Stefania, amazing Greek designer!

1. Introduce yourself Stefania.

I am Stefania Frangista, designer of my own swimwear /beachwear Collection, Pink Sands.

I started the line in 2009 and have sold it on over 20 stores in Greece, in two stores in Monaco, in Bloomingdale's Dubai, and Harvey Nichols, London.

2. Three concepts that best describe your work.

Pink Sands is a fresh, fun, layed-back, vintage inspired, top quality line of bikinis, one-pieces, breezy dresses, beautiful sandals, cute shorts....and more.

3. What is your perfect target?

The Pink Sands customer is a woman between the age of 25-40 who adores the beach scenery, is free-spirited, loves travelling, meeting new people, and feels at ease with herself.

She enjoys her work, takes care of her body, and enjoys life in all its forms.

She wants clothing that makes her feel pretty but also comfortable and flattering at the same time..

4. How do you maintain the inspiration still alive?

Inspiration has unlimited sources...you look around you and you get inspired...you meet someone, see something, travel somewhere and you get ideas...I get very inspired by observing people on the street and by fabric..I see fabric and  I immediately know what design this has to be sewn in!

5. Which star would you like to see associated with your clothes? If it has happened on what occasion?

I like Sienna Miller and model Natalia Vodianova..

6. In which magazine would you like to see your own advertising?

I am a big fan of BAZAAR and Vogue..I'd like Pink Sands to be featured in the UK or US ones..we have already been featured in the Greek Vogue, which was great!

7. About advertising, what do you think about bloggers and their communication potential?

Bloggers?! Well it suffices to say that for the Greek market, this season we are only going to be approaching bloggers and online media in order to promote Pink Sands...I think that the power of online communication for our target market, has massive power...and it is only growing more influential and powerful every day!!
